And here the story begins
For the last ten months I've been passing Matthew Boulton College's fashion design studios every day on my way to work. It was wonderful to sneak a peak at projects being designed by students, especially that they have transparent glass walls there, and I could see students drawing, sewing and very often crying over their projects.
No surprise, I started thinking about coming back to sewing. But since I've pushed this aspect of my life into the darkest corner of my brain, it took me some time to pull it out again.
But here it is, my first project - folded skirt:
I wore it with Irregular Choice shoes, and an H&M hat (stolen from my husband) to the Arts Party of The Year organised by Fazeley Studios in Digbeth (love this place!). More events like this in Birmingham, please.
